Well the last two patches have killed this game for me. Guess I'll check back later, but so far its turned from a fun sandbox-style Action/RPG, to a level grinding, slow paced, MMoRPG-like, single player game. Hell 12 hours before it becomes fun, then 4 hours of said fun isn't worth it to me.

Well, are you going to explain what you mean? I'm not sure the game progression has even slowed at all for me. :?:

Also remember that armagan is going to arbitrarily change the figures in weird ways from time to time just to experiment with the effects it causes, AND for certain purposes. For example, I think the reason he started us out with more cash (a LOT of cash) and that chest in the Zendar tavern is to speed up our progression so we can test things for him much more quickly. I think you're disappointed in nothing. Anyway, you've already paid, so at least you'll be around when this is done.

There are alot of players of this game and there is no way Armagan can make everyone happy. He is still adding and changing things ... really, there is no way to know what balancing changes will be made, so don't give up hope.

Am I the only one that thinks Jhaerik (whatever, can't be arsed to spell it right) doesn't have the faintest clue of what he's talking about? I.e. how does giving us a new armor slot, chests, ability to edit maps, and numerous bug fixes change the game from an action-RPG to a "level based grind fest" MMORPG (WTF? How the HELL can it be anything like an MMORPG when 1) it doesn't have multiplayer 2) the gameplay isn't turnbased, ala EVERY MMORPG currently on the market and 3) IT'S EXACTLY THE SAME AS 0.632 except with improvements and bug fixes?). Lay off the crack there Jhaerik, I think it makes you confused.
 
Hehe, rather amasing how many people answered in the short while after I wrote that. HeHe.

Seriously though haven't cared much for the last 2 patches, I'm finding low levels just a bit on the "too hard" side. Also don't know if was intentional, but the starting stats are a bit high now to be honest.

Just had an idea btw, wouldn't it be nice to recieve 2 skill points a level? BUT, require one to be added to a non-combat.

Also inventory management should not have been changed.

Unless....

Additonal horses and men determined how many items you can carry.

Something like....

6 Starting + 1 Per 4 Men in Party +1 Per Hero + 2 Per Horse in inventory, or something like that.

Also..

Maybe Lame horses would not be able to carry anything.

So....

With <Your Name Here>,16 Men, M & B, and 3 Horses in Inv, you would have 18 Inv Slots. This as actually about the same number I used to have starting out, and would deter soloing just a bit, you of could you could always flood your Inv with cheap horses, but that would be a lot of cash, and a lot less gear. :razz:

Also I seem to find a strong need to put damage down to half with the lowered hp gains. I'd rather not die the first time I take any strong hit. :sad:
