Defeated faction still has villages?

Hi there,

Probably there's something I didn't understand, but I conquered all towns of a faction yet they still have their vilages? I conquered 3 factions, the first one disappeared completely but the 2 other ones still have villages, still exist, and their lords keep raiding my empire. It'd be nice to completely defeat them.

Isn't there ANY solution to this, please? I conquer more factions and they ALWAYS keep villages somehow. It's unbearable, they're still at war with me and keep raiding all my villages. It's very annoying.
