Some say yes. Were executed. I have not experienced it, I would like it to be one of the first things to be applied in the game. It would be fun to have a bloodline and die from old age

I've seen companions listed as dead in post-battle menus but they're still alive when I return to the party screen.

Yes, i've been executed in my beta save, wife took control of the clan after
I suppose that having the devious trait (-2 honor) lead to that

Nope. It's possible for them to appear in the "dead" list during/after combat, but they don't actually die.

Wife's can die in child birth as well.

Wife can die with enable death off as well since mine died after having her 6th kid and i have the option turned off.
