I think that his opinion would get more meaningful engagement if he was coherent. If he's getting frustrated because people are misinterpreting his words, then my suggestion is quite helpful, actually.
We are commenting against the things we barely understand. Then simply don't comment on the thread? If they can't understand what he's saying that would imply they only commented to attack him and not contest him on his opinion.
This would also be an example of them speaking on things they don't remotely understand, since they don't understand him.
It doesn't take much skill at all to pull that off, cavalry is kind of OP, and any noob could ride around in TDM and couch people left and right. That has been and always will be the case in Mount & Blade games. Even if the mechanics were exactly how you personally want them to be.I see that all the time in tdm and siege. A small match (20 or 10 players), specially in the morning, where one or two players play cav and just lance everyone left and right.
I won't deny that there's people who play games to ruin the fun of others. Such is obvious. But if people want to do that, there are many avenues to do it outside of the combat system. Skilled players from my community, at the very least, don't think this way. And I doubt it's the case anywhere else, which is why I asked "Where are these people?". If I wanted to ruin people's fun, I can grief them in ways outside of the combat system. A more well known case is someone infamous found out the admin password to a Warband server and permabanned everyone from it. It's not particularly productive to assume motive based on outcome. More often than not humans don't get the outcomes they were looking for.It is not fun, except for the physco who ruins it for everybody else.
The vast majority of information conveyance happens in a tiny percentage of words spoken/written. We know the general idea of what he wants, he was around a few months ago spouting the same opinions then. Anything that makes the combat more skill based, or functional, he has actively spoken out against. The problem is that he bothers to type about things he doesn't remotely understand and constantly baits people into responding to him by saying things so assinine that retards like me can't help but to call him out on his crap. A forum, in particular this section of this forum, exists for meaningful discussion about the game. I shouldn't really have to say that, it's a given. And that includes telling people who think they know what they're talking about, that they don't have any idea what they're talking about. Then simply don't comment on the thread? If they can't understand what he's saying that would imply they only commented to attack him and not contest him on his opinion.
You have 100% outsmarted me with that one, I'll concede that. This would also be an example of them speaking on things they don't remotely understand, since they don't understand him.
Then do it with some respect Younes. You don't need to talk to him like he's an idiot because he has a different opinion to you.We are commenting against the things we barely understand.
Not understanding everything != barely understanding anything
10x better comment, contesting his opinion, not his ability to speak a language.Except i'm not. I'm saying his opinion lacks critical information.
I don't know how TW chose the "besties" to test multiplayer secretly with, but if bracing and hooked spears is their idea then I'm slightly concerned. However, even if the changes will be as dreadful as you describe to create such a backlash, I hope it won't be a problem to just revert them.
Metafa we're not doing this on purpose, we generally have a hard time trying to understand what you're saying.
Metafa is the final boss of the forums guys. Tork and Axios were his lieutenants
I got there through a web of lies, bribery, nepotism and manipulation. You were literally a member of the closed beta. You know exactly how they chose the "besties" because you were one of them....
Would be dumb from you to accept cheating ^^
Was that another baseless accusation or am I failing to understand what you are saying?
Nah you just need to look past the difference of opinions. I use to disagree with Sundeki and Younes often, but I can still look past that and see that they're chill guys. Same with everyone else, it's just passion for the game and difference of opinions.you know you done goofed when tork is defending you
Automated scripts? Movements don't make sense? Rapid Succession? That's the definition of Bannerlord current fighting system. It's true that warband was hard to master, but EVERY warband movement made perfect sense for a warband player with at least some experience. The only two visual glitches that were used were: The M feint and a glitch made possible by inverse. Other than that, the game didn't rely on exploits like bannerlord does. If you think that of warband then I have no idea why you don't see the visual and speed glitches from bannerlord. Bannerlord basic mechanics barely make sense while warband basic mechanics were all well developed and made perfect sense for anyone with 50+ hours.Well, in Warband the combat format was pretty inviting to be exploited by automated scripts, because even if the movements don't make sense; because they were able to be fired in such rapid succession you could still confuse people mightily with that. But no, I have no indication of anyone of you actually cheating.
