Yeah, i think its funny that all the noobs are telling US (this beta testers) how to play, when WE should be telling THEM how to play, but what do i know? i only beta tested since the early .600's so... (i am probably just an old fart to them)

In all fairness though, I think new players just need to realize that there is a counter to everything. A lot of people are treating this game as an FPS where you can just run off by yourself and top the charts. While some people can do this, the majority can't. You need to use teamwork. Travel in pairs. Go to duel servers and practice manual blocking and chambering. Learn to gauge distances with kicks so you can hit the "spammers" and give yourself some breathing room. This game takes lots and lots of PRACTICE and PATIENCE!

The 2 hander "spam" gripe seems to be fitting.  I've only played online for a few days now and I was having trouble getting the manual block down.  A friend suggested: "Grab a two-hander and just side swing, you'll be killing in no time."  Sure enough, me, a person who can barely block a shot, is mowing down enemies with a very nice KDR.  So I can see why one might complain that this weapon is some what dumb-downed or powerful.

As for the other things, they frustrate me at times but this is because I can't combat them effectively due to my noobness

Honestly, this 2-handed "spam" has nothing to do with being a noob or being skilled. It is rather a product of a combination of fundamental flaws in the gameplay (that people like Berserker Pride and I have been endlessly fighting to get fixed during the beta). The primary problem is a very weak implementation of weapon sweet spots (both in arc and in distance).

I think it does have quite a bit to do with being skilled; in the matches with only experienced players, I don't see any "spamming" going on, and much less 2 handers being used than in a newbie game. I found the recent post by nieh and also Reapy's opinions in that thread quite informative regarding how effective "turning into the swing" is in practice, as I've only ever played against humans with more than 100 ping; having said that, I've also been a strong proponent of increasing the swing sweet spot effect, for what seems like ages...

get on a horse with a shield and massive bastard sword and beat their heads in. If they use 2h, stick an arrow/bolt/javelin in their face. The more they cry the more they die.
