I would like you to know that I am running around in a shirt, with a short sword, hurting feelings. I am killing people with shields by waiting until they open their guard and stabbing them, then running around behind them and stabbing them, then kicking and stabbing htem. I and killing archers by ducking and weaving. When the next battle starts, I, naked, will take a polearm and bloody well murder someone by being faster and more skillful than they and understanding my engagement distances. After that I think I'll take a throwing axe and kill three armored people in melee for fun.

Admittedly, I am just as bad as the people I am complaining about. I had a moment of weakness somewhere between the guy complaining that shields work and the guy trying to argue that two handed swords weigh as much as a small cow because that's what it seems like they should weigh to him.

Every other thread seems to be whining about how everything is more overpowered than everything else, and they all go the same way.

Bizarrely, they also seem to end up with someone posting a picture of themselves in LARP gear, which is apparently supposed to demonstrate their point.
