- Fusiliers (IF PRUSSIA) = Prussian Light infantry, not skirmishers.
- Fusiliers (IF FRANCE) = French Line infantry.

Herbiie said:Fusiliers are a Type of Line infantry - they originally were the first troops to have Flint Locks or fusils and were meant to escort Artillery.
Number for your Regiment could be the 7th Regiment of Foot (Royal Fusiliers) 7th were the First fusilier regiment
Hope that helps!
Upload stuff to photobucket, then go to the picture & there'll be a bbc code selection copy that & post it job done!

All fusiliers were originally armed with Fusils....
Fusil.... Fusilier.... get it
Also seeing as this is British I was, surprisingly, talking about British Fusiliers

There was yes, but the Original Fusiliers were armed with Fusils to protect artillery because Matchlock muskets were too dangerous.
I know as I am part of the CCF and my parent regiment is the RRF, we had a whole test on it.FatalJoker said:Herbiie said:FatalJoker said:I was still just stating that there was a difference between countries.
