DBL click... and nothing happens!

I read the sticky that was posted by Ferox... however my thread count when i open Notebook is 1, i updated my drivers... (i think, wasnt really sure how but i went to ati.com[for my video card] and got all the windows updates). I really can not figure out why i cannot run this game! I do not have any anti virus systems running to my knowledge... i run ad-aware one a week but thats it.

Please Help!!!!

i am using Windows XP Home Edition

On my computer, when the game crashes, it goes into the same state: It can't be opened anymore.

I reinstalled and rebooted and then it worked again. I suspect only a reboot would suffice, though.
