Dark Knights

I heard someone have 17 dark knights in his army. I think I am about level 40 with 70 swadian knights etc, but I havent seen an enemy group with Dark Knights as prisoners. So how can I hire/shanghai some dark knights to my army?

You need to attack someone who has dark knights as prisoners. When you free them they'll join you. Not easy to find.

By the way, where is the Dark Knight spawn point?

i think they spawn in towns like swadian and vaegir parties do

I've never seen dark knights come out of a town. It's a possibility that they just randomly spawn in places close to farmers or refugees.

i think they spawn near the forest bandit spawn point or somewhere near the middle, i always find them near the rive at vendar.

I'm with the Vaegirs and I can only find Black Khergit Horsemen and Dark Hunters towards North-West, near Tulga. Maybe your diplomatic stance affects where they spawn?

I find the dark knights near zendar since they like to kill the peasants, but I think they come from sereppa, one of the invisible towns on the map. It is by Tulga, almost at the edge of the map. Oh, and to get the dark knights, try repaying your debt to the enemy, then guide dark knights to the enemy faction's caravans and help the caravans in battle. Then kill the caravans

I once saw a group come out of Jelkala, just after I had left it!

hmm that sounds interesting. looks like i have a date with some black riders tonight

That tactic requires microing. Sometimes they rather go after you than the easy caravan.
