Dark Age Britian M&B ?

Hey, been playing the game for awhile, i love it and cant wait till they put some new killed graphics in there.

Played a few mods, naturally native expansion is among the best.

I havent seen any dark age mods? I saw a britainia one but it was medieval.

I am curious if anyone has heard of a dark age one?

Or has anyone here read Bernard Cornwells Warlod chronicales?

I would like to see a mod around that story foxuesed on southrn britain, with the old welsh kingdoms fighting amongst themselves and fighting off the saxon invaders. could easily be 5-6 factions and since back then the only war horses that were used were by Arthur who brought them over from brittan. An idea might be to limit horses to certain dates and certain regions so you can only have say 20-40 at a time in an army?

and introduce the shield wall attribute and you could play as a war lord for arthur etc and fight the saxons back or join the saxons and help them conquer the bristish isles?

just an idea of mine lol

2. Well, here's an Arthurian mod in development though it's based on another book series, "A Dream of Eagles" by Jack Whyte. The closest released "Bernard Cornwell mod" available is 867 AD - Lords at War for M&B 0.903, which is inspired by "The Saxon Stories". A loosely Arthurian (Dark Age Britain) mod is Land of Eternal Youth for M&B 0.960.

Well, Land of Eternal Youth is not strictly Arthurian, because it's set in 410 A.D after Roman legions withdrawal from island. Version for 0.960 isn't 100% historicaly accurate, but the current edition for 1.011 is quite accurate. (which is still WIP and not released yet).
