Damori's Challenge to Mappers!

Users who are viewing this thread

Alright, peoples, I challenge you to make a map of the State of Michigan with the Vaegirs in the Upper Peninsula and the Swadians in the Lower Peninsula. Here are some maps of the state. (I think it makes a great sort of area to map because of the islands and lakes around it. Turning Neutral Zendar into Neutral Traverse City would be pretty interesting, methinks!

hmm, but since there are no boats in M&B at the moment.. how would you get from one place to the other?

should we include a bridge? :P
or would we have to add bits of the states around (wisconsin, illinois, indiana) to walk around..

lol, unless someone can make units that act as boats (move on water, even if non-boat units are in party, is left behind when party moves on land) (I believe I saw a boat tag for troops, but it is likely one of the several do-nothing bits leftover from things armagan gave up on)

or perhaps units that walk on water.. :P
maybe change their icon to show a little man in a canoe.. lol

There is the Mackinac Bridge between the UP and the LP, it's rather large.

well, there is no way to make a bridge that looks anything like a bridge..
the best we could do would be to just throw in a strip of desert or something from one to the other.. maybe raise it to look a bit arched and put mountain terrain on either side..

That sounds like a neat idea, even if I'd be content with a thin strip of land.
