Doing my first playthrough as a male in a long long time, I rather enjoyed the rampant sexism that diplomacy presents, not to mention indicting your husband for treason is always fun 
However I decided it was time to get married. I am after all a king, and my first lord, Lord Druli kindly offered up his sister. However at about the 5th time in a row she gave me the quest to go fight some random lord for her affections I decided she was a little too easy for my liking.... So I moved on.
Next I targeted a Vaegir woman, without her brother/fathers permission. Things were going well, I got to the point where I was at 50% chance of getting her to elope with me so went off to learn a new poem before she asked to see me again and contemplate if this was a wise move... Vaegirs in this instance happen to be the most powerful faction for the moment both in terms of lords and lands so it is a bit like poking the bear while my own kingdom is still in its infancy. However Reyvadin was taken while she was in it and now she has gone missing... Like seriously missing. I tracked down her brother and asked him where she was and even he didn't know! I waited for 13 days trying every day to find out where she had disappeared to but nobody could find her and the quest expired.
I did get it again later, but too late another young lady caught my eye, the daughter of another of my lords and honestly who wants a wife that just goes missing after she summons you? Plus once again her father kinda threw her at me... So I started courting the lovely Lady Ruwa. I recited every poem, dedicated 4 tournaments to her, beat the snot out of some Rhodok prat... 32 relations and she still wants us to get to know eachother better before thinking if we have a future together....
Maybe I should just break down and marry Ymira...
