Well, that depends... If you are able to produce a letter of marque from the Taleworlds Admiralty, and the vessel was not Calradian, then you can legally engage in acts of piracy against the enemies of Taleworlds (Blizzard, for example). If you don't posses a valid letter of marque, then you'll be... gotten rid of.
Or you can join the Royal Calradian Navy, where you can take said enemy vessels and receive a share of the profits. Everyone knows the Royal Navy used to be way more badass than pirates- just look at Nelson... he lost an eye and an arm and he was still running around boarding enemy ships.
