Damage to head?

I was wondering that can you cause more damage with a melee weapon when aiming for the head? (like when using ranged weapons)

I've tried to test it several times, but I'm not sure.

You do different damage from different body parts, and you have different armor for different protection like leg armor, meaning if you have high leg armor but no body or head armor, you will take very low damage when hit in the lower waste of your body etc

But if the target has a black helmet and just a shirt,a hit in the chest is far better. Then again, this is only a theory, since Dark Knights are literally tanks.

The lower parts of mine body are not a waste! Indeed, below the waist is the most developed part of my body.

I'd make a joke about a lance but I doubt it would be a good idea.
Maybe not, but Ill bet it wouldve had something to do wit "Bent" or "Broken"!  LOL

lol.

Yeah, it does do more damage. you really notice it when your getting one hit kills with a broadsword while mounted.

You'll also hear a *shing!* sound when you get a "headshot" with a melee weapon. It's a sign that i've been playing too long and should go do my homework.

It's a very satisfying sound indeed. I can almost feel my blade cutting through armor and separating flesh from bones.

Yep, BOY that's satisfyin'. But it's kind of weird when you get that sound off an unarmored head. What's he have in there, a steel plated brain?

hahahahaha lol'ed

and yes...it does more damage if your hit in the head compared to say a hit in the leg.
