d3d9.dll Crashing Warband

I have not been able to find a single answer to why trying to use d3d9.dll with my Warband (using the Nova Aetas ENB) just crashes my game instantly on startup. It's quite annoying and I've tried complete reinstallations and different compatibility modes.

Any help would be very appreciated because the Steam community doesn't help whatsoever.
