Czechoslovak Forum Section

Hello guys,

I've been wondering for some time now and I came to a conclusion that it would be nice to have a Czechoslovak forum board. There's a lot of Czech and Slovak players spread across the realms of Warband and I am pretty sure a lot of them would be up for it and with upcoming Bannerlord release, there will be a lot of new guys coming up on the forums and game, and "our own" forum board would only help with developing Czechoslovak part of the community.
I've never seen anyone asking for a Czechoslovak Board, so I am probably first right now.

Edit: @Kern: you need to prove there is an actual demand, sufficient in numbers made from real Czechs and  Slovaks. Ask them to post here and we will evaluate in some time if there is enough interest to justify the language board. Good luck

I've played Warband for roughly 5 years now and I can wholeheartedly say that there's a fairly decent following for the game in Slovakia/Czech republic, and with the upcoming release of Bannerlord it would be fairly helpful to have a board where we can meet up or organise, right now it's not the easiest task since the only effective way of playing with my countrymen is sitting in a server and lookning for people with CZ or SK tags.

Right now there definetly is a demand for a CZ/SK board here on the forums. It may not seem like it, because there aren't too many czechs and slovaks asking for it directly here, but the reason is that we just like to complain and do nothing about it  . But the truth is, there is still enough of CZ SK warband players who would really use their own national board and when the next game comes out, the number will greatly increase.

How many players would you estimate are active right now across all the games? (if such a thing is even possible to guestimate). Obviously, a language forum may attract new players who haven't yet bought the game, but we'd need a ballpark figure for how many of you there are at this moment.

Dozens to hundreds I'd say.

Needless to say though half of them don't even know there is such a thing like taleworlds forums.

Across all TW games? I can't speak for SP players. In MP, it could be around 100 players.(Across WFAS, Warband (Native, NW, Mercenaries.))
I'd say that SP has more, but I can't tell.

I agree with everything what has been said so far. Having own language board once Bannerlord is finally out would be helpful for developing the Czechoslovak community and for attracting new members.

now seriously, can't czechs and slovakians understand each each other with the poles? or it isnt like russian/ukranian, spanish/portugese

@crodeau , Well not really we barely understand them when we speak and there is "not many" similarities in written language 

@Pharaoh X Llandy , Like my friends said before me, its hard to check as we are spread around modules and sometimes dont even know about each other, it could be 100 + or less... but we are really lacking any space to "gather up", for example there is CzechoSlovak tournament running right now and it even have video coverage, however half of the community doesnt even know that there is something like dat going around.

It´s still kinda hard to tell how much we would be using the forum and how many people would be using it, however the interest is definitely there and Im sure that it would be nice "place" for our community to have.

Alright, we'll put it to TPTB. It may take a week or more for a decision to be reached, so if any additional Czechs/Slovaks want to chip in, now is the time.

That's not fair Gasset. The politics have split the country, if the people would have decided, we'd still be 1 country.
