Version 1/2 has been released - I discovered a minor aesthetic bug which made all armours after level 1 be referred to as "light". Now fixed, and uploaded (nothing else fixed, so you don't need to redownload it)
When the final release is released, I'll also release the source for everyone who wants it (there's still a few features I want to put in, see the progress log). Thanks for showing some interest in using the mod in another
1) I don't think so. Well, you could change the troop type after each battle but that would require a lot of (ie, "too much") coding
2) They will gain experience and levels after battles, but they cannot be upgraded in that way.
I was actually hoping someone would comment on that, and it could be re-done in the next version. I've just used the prices 400, 800, 1600, 2500, 3200, 5000, 6400, 12800 and 25600 depending on type of upgrade and level of upgrade.
Judging on the lack of bugs, I think I'll get on with version 2, which will allow another customizable troop for each faction, and another neutral troop in the four ways inn (it'll add some use to the place, anyway)
Yea, I just tried it, first 50 minutes without cheats, then I used Ctrl-x in my inventory about 100 times... >.> Looks fun. Met no bugies! What I would like now, is something showing me what every level of equipment gives. For I was just randomly clicking away with no Idea whatsoever of what I would get! This doesn't have to be in-game of course, Just at the first post is fine. Still, it might be a little to much work.
The troops do not cost to much, nor have a monthly fee worthy of their skill, but this could be because YOU payed for their equipment. Still, I find a joining cost of 12 and a wage of 3 a little to low, for at their highest level they can kill dark knights.
(I admit - I imported them from Eastern Calradia so I caould pay them the minimum wage )
I think I'll leave that thing for version 2 (which already is about 25% coded). How about a joining cost of 50, and a weekly of 20?
What would everyone here prefer? Just buying equipment once for every customizabletroop type (easily, and already, coded), or having to buy more equipment for each customizable troop type (easy to code, but tedious as it involves placing a 2 infront of every single variable ())?
