SP Native Custom Commander v1.396 for Warband 1.165+ (source code included)

Hey, i am new to this (apologies) i read up to page 6 in order to learn how to install this mod, and i gave up reading.

How do i install this mod? I downloaded from the link, (Custom_Commander_Warband_Expanded_1.314_full.7z is the file name i downloaded) And have no way to open this file in any way.

Where do i put this for it to work?
What do i download to open the file?
What do i do to make this work?
ETC.

(If it helps, im running the steam version. but i'm assuming thats irrelevant considering i can't even get past the download.)

download the newest WINRAR should let you extract the files
.7z is a compressing method just as .ZIP and .RAR

Will this mod be updated to version 1.126? The new version adds new elements (enterprises) and some codes have changed so copying the code from CC and pasting it into the new module system doesn't work as expected.

Of course, 1.126 has no such annoying bug at least, like  Rohdock's spearman and becomes more steady. Rubik recommended us playing either 1.126 or 1.113. I think the newest vision will come soon :cool:
 
Somehow, during battles, the game seems to be running slower with this mod. It's not as playable anymore.
Anyone else having the same problem?

Wow, what an amazing mod. Literally the best mod of all.
 
One exclusive option within Custom Commander that I'd love to add to another mod, specifically Diplomacy, is the option to have all 16 NPCs start in the first inn.  The code that does this in menus.txt is:

* HP bars on troop's heads! You can also disable/enable the display of the HP bars for both sides separately and decide the distance limit for showing the HP bars.
in MOD options in camp menu.
* You  can configure a shopping list for foods in the menu of auto-buying food freely. The auto-buying food system is now according to the shopping list.
  When doing  auto-buying food, the rotten foods in your inventory will be sold out automatically at the same time.
* Bandit heroes have their own banners now. The quest rewards for dealing with bandit heroes have increased.

I'm having an issue with the module, where it crashes during the first battle with the would-be assassin.  I'm playing through steam, and it doesn't really provide an error message except that the game had to shut down.
 
Rubik thanks for porting this to warband. I have one question ?? i am currently playing game on hell mode. And even though i know it suppose to be hard. I think it's totally unbalanced. When it comed to player become a king in this mode it is impossible. Not only do you see lords running around with plus 300 soldiers the player is never going to be able to have that many soldiers to compete with regular lords.

So it means if the player first start out capturing a castle you will only have about 150 soldiers, when a large body of enemy lords have already gathered to retake your castle. In that point you won't be even able to have enought soldiers to defend castle. There will be like 5000 enemy  already at your front. To retake the castle back. In that case to rebalance that either food would have larger amount of moral or player moral should be higher to be able to have enough soldiers without having to worry about deserters due to low moral. Or you could make the enemy lords would have deserters because they are having way to many soldiers on them anyway.

haha....The difficulty of hell needs to open cheat mode, because it is really unbalanced.  :cool:
But that can make someone enjoy it, too.
 
Unless you enjoy defeat rather then winning that is the way to go. Even if you have lords witch is imopossible you do know you have to first create a kingdom. So in  hell mode you won't even be able to do that. At least the player part. When i see all lords 300 + units running around and kings with 500 + units what is the balance there if the player can't have more 150 due to low  budget and low moral ??  :roll:

Even if you have all your units to full upgraded they can;t win against 3000 at the same time because kingdom will attack you with all they got.

Or maybe my game is bugged  are kings  suppose to have 500 units ?? and lords more 300 ?? Is this like this only in hell mode ?? I did notice they start out very high renown. So that could be why they have so much soldiers on them. 500 + renown etc..
