don't know if this is the right place (if it isn't can a moderator please put it in the correct place) but i have a problem curving a sword can someone tell me how to i use wings 3d.

thanks in advance

Wings3d takes some getting used to, but if you want to curve a sword from native then you can just create some more vertices and then drag them untill your sword is in the desired shape. To be honest, I never even thought of just curving native weapons, even though I frequently butcher native items to make my own Frankensteinsical creations.

i am trying to make a vibro sword for a mod (clone wars arkonne assault) and the referance i am using requires me to bend it a bit
here is the referance:

and here is my sword in its current status( i know it looks nothing like the reference because if i remember all vibro swords where different):

I'm a star wars fan and I've never heard that.

The Wookieepedia article (written by star wars fans) doesn't say that either.

And if it looks better, but is too hard to do, don't do it.

So it looks cool. What does that have to do with functionality? Most normal swords weren't curved, so why would a SOOPER MAGIC VIBRATING SWORD have to be?

we are straying of the point here, even if i do keep it as it is what about future projects where it requires me to bend/curve the blade in a certain way, all i ask is how to curve the damn blade a bit, if someone would be ask kind enough to give me a step by step tutorial in how to do this i would be very grateful.

This really isn't a productive line of discussion, gents.

Shadowarcher, from what I understand it really is just a matter of adding some extra vertices in the boning near the tip of the sword; I think your first problem is that you are still using an arrow-like tip instead of the more swept tip that your model has.  Your finished product is always going to look wrong with the design you have right now because a curved sword is only sharp on one side.  That arrow-like tip implies that it is sharp on both.  I would first address the skeleton of the sword, and then worry about the tilt.
