Sergeant at Arms
So we are currently at war with the Swadians, I have good relations with the border towns and a fair amount of cash so I felt no need to be stingy in my sieges as if my forces were nearly crushed I could just run back and hope for a mass recruitment or two (which I have been lucky enough to get).

I started with Suno, it had 340 troops in garrison + another 80 from whichever count was in there... Through 3 attempts I whittled the force down to 80 defenders + 10 from the count residing inside but I had to go back and get more troops (me being down to 20).

I scoot back to Nord lands and make my recruitment drive, get back up to 60 troops and begin my trip back hoping my training skill along with my companions being enough to upgrade all of the new recruits at least once. I get there and see that it is besieged by the Rhodoks... I wait around upgrading my troops (with a few stops to recruit more) only to watch as it falls to the Rhodoks.

So because of this, and the lack of Swadian response I move on to Praven. Situation there is even worse, not only does Praven hold a garrison of 360 but Harlaus and his merry band of 180 and 2 counts with 70 and 80 are stationed inside. I fight in skirmishes with them and whittle away at their troops. I then begin on Praven itself. It takes me several weeks but I eventually get them down to under 100 troops... I head back to Nord lands for one more recruitment drive (again down to 30) and make my way back with 85 troops..

As I approach I see the Rhodok army bearing down on Praven I dump a few recruits and up my speed from 6.1 to 6.2 and head for town to begin the siege first... they beat me by mere seconds.... Another town, easily fallen to the Rhodoks thanks to my mens hard work...

I curse you Graveth.. Once I am up and fully running and take my revenge on the Vaegirs you are next I swear it!

Edit- I camped out near Praven and watched the battle.... I will say this much for the Swadians, they gave them one hell of a fight.

The battle started at just over 900 Rhodoks vs 122 Swadians, last numbers I saw before the battle ended the Swadians still had roughly 30 troops but the Rhodoks were down to 300.

wow, I'd never imagine Swadians being able to put up that kind of fight in a siege, especially vs. Rhodoks. Although you should've known better and not attacked a city while your target is at war with the almighty Highlander tribes. The thing to do is let them do the hard work and then mop up.

Swadians can thank me and Ragnar for that... The Rhodoks did not have very many high-tier troops left after the pounding we gave them before we mutually started to hate on Swadia.
