Not a fundamental necessity or anything here but I think it’d be nice if the culture of towns/villages (ie. the recruitable troops and the merchants inventory) began to reflect the culture of whatever faction owns that town/village over time.
I may be alone on this but it feels weird conquering towns/villages as a Vlandian and Recruiting imperial or Sturgian troops from it. Having imperial or sturgian inspired armor and weapons in the shops, etc.
I think since you’re opening trade routes To these places with your faction’s citys the gear and culture should assimilate over time.
Example: capturing Varcheg as a Vlandian should result in recruitable Vlandian troops after some time and Vlandian inspired gear being sold in the market over time. This does not include resources as those are geographically specific based on what the land provides.
