Culture issue. Has anyone else had this happen?

So I captured Ravenstern from the Feirdsvein then my douchebag king wants to take it instead of giving it to me as he should have.  Obviously I should rule in his place so I rebelled and kept it for myself and fought off 2*2000 man armies.  I build a training yard and install the knights of the Evantide.  I give Lethaldrian a couple towns because I want his Noldor troops.  I think everthing is set for Pendorian dominatiin but then I hit what I consider to be a massive problem...

When I rebelled I think I must have missed something and went Ravenstern culture instead of Pendor.  This in its self is not the deal breaker.  the real issue I have is that Knights of the Evantide require Pendor Knights and I can only recruit Ravenstern nobles so ya thats kindnof a game breaker for me.

I am trying to fix this.  I have rejoined Ravenstern by pledging to my old douchebag King.  Lethaldrian has retained a town I gave him and is now Ravenstern also.  I plan to betray my old douchebag king when the time is right.  so my questions are.

Will I be able to reset my culture when I reform my Kingdom?
Will Lethaldrian default back to me as he defaulted to Ravenstern?
Do u actually get to pick culture if u actually rebel instead of attack a faction while unaligned?  I may have missed instead thinking I was getting items not picking culture.

I did try to find these answers mh self but hadno luck. thx for any help and fir an awesome mod.

Leth will not default back. You will have to recruit him again.

You can choose your culture, when talking to your ministre for the first time after declaring independence.

You can actually change your kingdom culture even after choosing it by talking to your ministre.

well im yet to find that button.  the only way I know is to lose then reform ur kingdom.  can u please advise the tab I should find to be able to change via minister.

via minister , is the option at the bottom of the dialogue , "our people deserves another way to" or something like that

You will need to have 200k or 300k denars (can't remember which) for the option to appear. Changing the culture is an expensive venture.

I believe there is a big relations hit with villages, lords, etc too when changing culture.

Your wife or a companion need to be minister to change culture. Also, all unassigned villages will revert to original culture until assigned a lord from the present ruling kingdom.
