Let's see:

Chef Brian: wth? It...makes no sense...

The rest of the comic: it tries to be a mix between Penny Arcade (unchanging, predictable characters who say funny things) and PvP (focuses on a small group of dynamic, developing characters and what they do), but it ends up getting the worst of both worlds (unchanging characters who don't say funny things doing either strange or boring things).

Meh...

It had its funny moments, but by now it's just not that great. I still check it from time to time though.
