Crusader Kings by paradox- anyone play it?....if so anyone want t oget a multiplayer campaign going?

edit: title

vomninstont look at this if you can see

CK: DV is the best game i have ever played before

oh and if you can see after a year save the game and exit and reload the game

why you ask it is simple

your king will get duke titles and after you reload he will grant to his vassals so make sure when you see that your liege (KING not DUKE) has titles like King of ... and Duke of ... , ... , ... , ... (... means titles) he will grant them to vassals so he can get prestige very fast and wage WAR

muahahahha

and when your liege askes you for regiments make sure you have at least 200 gold or else decline (you will lose troops if you go -)

so that is that if von wants to make a reply??

oh and also BUMP

I've been dabbling a bit in it again recently, I enjoy playing thse games single player though, much to the annoyance of Nethros.

BASTARD!

Crusader Kings is a very good title, Paradox style like always, but it gets boring after a while, doing the same things over and over again.
I think this game has a primary mod, like usual when it comes to these games.

I like the Paradox games but after days playing with it this is the only one I still can't figure out. (Friend has it.) He swears it makes sense but I can't wrap my head around it.

It's hard to play this game without the expansion, Deus Vult. Crusader Kings was practically reinvented after the release of DV, three or four years later.

And the Deus Vult Improvement Pack has some nice fixes too, such as stopping random dukes all around europe swearing allegiance to you.

Vastly superior to EU. I like the whole family thing in this game, being able to build up your dynasty as well as just your nation makes the whole thing more personal, and thus more satisfying when you go from a pissing little count to King of Godknowswhat.

I think my brother once did a DV game which took him from count of Limousin to King of all of modern day Spain, Portugal, France, England, Wales, Italy, most of Germany and Denmark.

He then got bored and let his kingdom collapse, which took a long time and was great fun to watch (from the perspective of some Nordic count with fog of war turned off )

Vicky's got the most management, it's probably the hardest. I wouldn't call it the best, though.

Well I can understand it but it is still complex. I actually really like it. Plus the economic system is amazing and the fact that literally every single one of your inhabitants is kept track of gives you a sense of power. Now I admit I'm not the type of person who personally messes around with the pops (I let the AI screw me over and do it) but I'll learn. I used to let the AI handle trade but I figured it out.

Vicky is hands down the best- if you manage to grasp it. It is just ridiculous at how much there is inside of the game...

...As for CK? By far my favourite Paradox game. The family management/dynasty politics is down right amazing and with a few mods the traits and events only become better (and more coherent).

I know, it's pretty fun, but I still can't play it properly without cheating.

I also hate managing big nations in it. I tried playing Ireland, but it was way too poor.

Croatia rules he he the ragusa region and their ruler fell to another duke near Cro and then his rival of ragusa made him a corutier and became a part of Croatia

it is not funny as when your king sings whit peace i want that province

Yeah I've had my King ruin a number of onquests, so I was "delayed" to a big battle and he was killed and I took over :p (Playing as Sweden, so dukes inherited, I changed the system to my heirs only after that).
