cRPG mod issue

The only possibly "dangerous" thing I see in a mod being larger than the base game (and servers) is that, if it's the ONLY big mod with big servers, it might at one point be filled with admins who just ban people they don't like - and the banned people might be basically ostracized from the game for no fault of their own.
Example: I remember a relatively large server in the first days of Napoleonic Wars where the admin was a raging racist. And I don't mean some N-words, I mean constant slurs being thrown and absurd tirades in chat about X people being Y. That server went away quickly, but imagine if cRPG would, one day, be in the hand of someone who's like that and there's literally no other server with more than 30 players to be on. Not a good outlook.

Admin abuse in east asia server

TL;dr: Chinese admins abusing their rights in east asia server by enforcing censorship. Currently, east asia server is administrated by a Chinese forum for some reasons. Yet, those Chinese admins are now asking Chinese players to report any anti-PRC ID/avatar/chat message...

To be honest, dark skin characters make sense in mnb latitudes and world. They make 0 sense in western medieval game, game about nordic countries, game about baltic or slavic people. Have some respect for source material, instead of shielding yourself with your woke beliefs. Deal with it, that good game will properly represent it's world - not according to nyc quotas. Proper game will bring immersive climax.

While I partly agreed with what you said, the whole "woke" part completely discredits anything you just said. If you see a medieval video game with black people in Nordic countries, just consider the game as a fantasy genre.

Not sure why you need to hate it with your full heart, just move on with your life. You pretend like people do not have the brain power to figure out that the game isn't set in a realistic or historical setting. Some games are meant to be very historical accurate, some are not.

To be fair- it's not so much the devs being racist themselves- more that the community was so incredibly toxic that they were scared to put them in the game (despite the fact the skin tone was in the code unplayable since launch). Note that they have since added black people and women to the game (and if you scan the negative reviews you will see the communities thoughts on that).

The idea of a 'toggle' to give racists a little white bubble to play in is both hilarious and terrifying.

Play War of Rights. Game in the American civil war playing as CSA.
Id think it would be fun playing as a runaway slave fighting for my freedom or as a confederate slave being promised my freedom if I fight for the CSA. The n-word is the most heard word in voip on the battlefield.
