Criticizing an early access game released 1 day ago lol

Then why even bother releasing it for Early Access if they know it's going to cause a whole lot of problems?

As they said, they wanted feedback on direction. No one is saying not to provide feedback. What people should be saying, and don't enough, that being polite is an important part of feedback, especially negative feedback.

Perhaps consider that the people who are complaining about complainers may not be intending to target you, but rather are responding to the vast amount of idiocy they are reading.

If they want people to give feedback and improve the game, then they shouldn't force us to pay for it.

I assume you mean "they shouldn't". But that is just it, they didn't force anyone to pay for anything. People chose to buy a game which clearly informed everyone of the issues and problems which buying now would cause.

And they gave me 10% off for doing so, seems a fair trade overall. Assuming they deliver. And that's the important thing, that they deliver on the promise the game has. I'll get angry if that doesn't happen, but not before. And more the BS ****posting that is done, the most likely that Taleworlds may not be ABLE to deliver. So perhaps that is why such things irritate me.

And yet you are doing the very same thing. I haven't been complaining about the game. The only thing I've complain about is people who are complaining about complainers, the ethics of early access, and spam attacking A.I.

There is no value in it, and the harm is that of what we see now in the forums. As well as the negative reputation that can easily be spawned from an early accessed game.
There is so much value! 365 days of feedback, 365 days of us getting to play instead of waiting, 365 days of community involvement. Reputation is nothing in the face of completing the project. Lets try and not be the type of person that only jumps on board when the team is winning and moves on just as fast the second they ease up. Try and be more insightful then Taleworlds just being a dev company to satisfy your gaming itch

THIS! Again the same point being made over and over. I'm glad some of us get it and wish more people could be more mature

No you don't understand. We shouldn't be forced to pay for an incomplete game in order to help the developers complete it. If anything we are the ones who should be compensated for it, not the developers.

well. In some interviews TW were saying the game is half way done but looks like its atleast 1/3 done in from now on.

I think they delivered a bare minimum which can satisfy warband players

No one is forcing you to buy the game dude. Wait until release.
And about we should be compensated? How could you even think this? Paying people to play your game that you paid to make? That's like saying employees should pay the companies for the ability to work at their company. Like wut?

Or you can get a refund and wait for the full release...?

No one forced you to do anything, and that is the key point. You are entirely able to wait a year, and buy then. The reason people are responding to you negatively, is that you use very confrontational language. Should I be able to claim you are 'forcing' me to listen to you?

Yet, here we are now. Interns paying a company so we can work for them.

No I'm paying to play a game I've been waiting for years to play. Not a smidge more complicated than that. The game is even going to get vastly better over time. Win win

Don't joke. Interns aren't people.

About time we had some humor to escalate this conversation lol

Or maybe the developers shouldn't release games into early access if they didn't want to deal with the criticism and expecting people to pay nearly full price for a game that they themselves know isn't ready.
Taleworlds literally warned people against buying early access if they didn´t want to deal with the bugs, balance issues, and missing features. No one has been tricked into buying early access. This is such a bad argument lmao

Yet they want people to pay them, so they can get feedback to fix a game that they apparently don't know how to fix. Probably why it took them so long to develop the game in the first place.
