seriously if anyone was expecting anything more than what it is right now you only have yourself to blame. 90% of the issues that it has was addressed in the Early access info given weeks before it was released. If you buy an early access game without looking into what to expect your disappointment is your fault not the developers.

I know.

I went back and played Warband this morning and viking conquest... URGH! The improvements are visceral and very good to UI and combat and everything in bannerlord. Can't. Go. Back.

And with the patch today a lot was fixed that disallowed simple playing. Looking forward to when most bugs are cleaned out of crashes and they go into content add mode and quality of life mode.

Or maybe the developers shouldn't release games into early access if they didn't want to deal with the criticism and expecting people to pay nearly full price for a game that they themselves know isn't ready.

I'm not disappointed but can you really blame people for expecting more out of a game that's been in development 8 years? Plus if you're like me then you purposefully avoided reading a lot about the game because you wanted to go in blind. To be honest I don't think every one even knew it was supposed to be "early access" after 8 years of development until seeing it on the steam page.

They never said they didn't want criticism, they even told you to wait until it is stable and not buy it as soon as it comes out. If you did, it's YOUR fault. You were warned by the devs and by the Early Access disclaimer on the Steam store page.

I'm sorry, but you must have me confused with someone else. I haven't had really any problem other then the Spam Attacking A.I.

Its not the dev that could not handle criticism, its the rest of us who is enjoying the game can't cope with a bunch of crying baby in the forum.
Face it, Mount and blade is not another so called AAA game that hack n slash brainlessly and progress to a ending that does not mean **** to the player.
Its more like a life that comes with obstacles and hardships n flaws for you to live in.

Being the obstacles, hardships, and flaws being broken and unbalance game mechanics for who some can't even launch the game without crashing. Yet still wanting players to pay nearly full price for it.

Actually, they literally said not to buy the game unless you were prepared to deal with problems, full price or not...so, yeah, that seems reasonable.

Then why even bother releasing it for Early Access if they know it's going to cause a whole lot of problems?

To let people who have been waiting to play and understand the concept, play the game. So happy they released EA I couldn't wait another year even for a scrap.

Your argument is the same as "Why let me test drive the car if the car isn't ready to be produced yet" because I get to drive the car! Blessed to be able to play right now and I'll take it over not no matter the state as long as it is still finished in the end, which I think this will be

No, you could of waited another year. Just like how the Devs could of waited another year for full release.

Literally:
Option 1: Wait 11 years for a finished game
Option 2: Wait 10 years for EA and play while it is being finished in the last year
How do you not see the value? No harm done to the final release date AND we get a whole additional year to play and provide feedback??

If anything the year of feedback vs the year of no feedback is HUGE for the devs. I'd rather pay full price now than some small amount with more to pay as the game is finally released.

What are you even angry about? Or just angry?

And you could have waited for reviews before spending tens of units to ***** and whine. make a constructive thread itemising your niggles instead of whining about the production quality of a genuine indie game with a self taught crew.
I mean there is plenty to complain about as well as praise. But there is no joy in watching a bunch of teens and growns tantrum and fill their garments with digital filth and bile.

This. I don't get how this is so hard to understand for so many people

And yet you are doing the very same thing. I haven't been complaining about the game. The only thing I've complain about is people who are complaining about complainers, the ethics of early access, and spam attacking A.I.

There is no value in it, and the harm is that of what we see now in the forums. As well as the negative reputation that can easily be spawned from an early accessed game.
