Creating bridge battle scenes in singleplayer?

I had a thought. I just happened upon a bunch of Vaegir scum raiding a noble Nord Village and attempting to run off with our beautiful nord cattle and well fed nord women, and I got to wondering if I could mod the game so that It would send the player to a scene with a bridge if the player happened to encounter enemies very close to a bridge. Bridge battles are notorious for being vicious meat-grinders wherein heroes have a chance to distinguish themselves and small groups can stand off huge armies if they're doughty and determined and bloody minded enough.

Any thoughts? Has anyone done this in the past?
