Recruit
The problem I'm seeing with the armies I create is that the companions I assign to be under me will routinely disband the tier 5 and 6 troops to hire much lower tier troops. Is this pattern a feature that the developers intended??

Is there any way to direct which soldiers the companions hire, fire in their armies? Maybe a kingdom policy?

Also, is there a way to prevent the companion in my army from hiring trash recruits all the time?

Thanks!

So what is currently happening is your parties are taking released troops after a battle which is putting them over their party max and thus your other soldiers are leaving.

They know about this issue and tried to implement a fix once but it caused major bugs. I believe they pushed it off for other higher priority issues and haven't revisited it yet.

It definitely sucks and I wish they would implement high tier units won't be the ones to abandon their party just like how you can't recruit high tier prisoners. It wouldn't be an issue if all the peasants they just took off an enemy would be the ones to leave, but it is detrimental when you swap T6 units for peasants.
