Need More Info Crashing while exiting battle

After the last update, I get crashes whenever I try to exit the battle screen. Clicking "Done" immediately dumps right to desktop. Everything else seems to be functioning properly. Files are verified, no mods.

Game now also crashes when starting a new campaign. I tried loading a previous save as well, still crashes after exiting a battle. Game file verified again. Trying a fresh install.

OS: Win 10 64
GPU: Asus 2080 Super Dual OC V2
GPU Driver Version: 461.40
CPU: Intel 9700K
RAM: 16GB Corsair LPX 3200Mhz
Motherboard: Asus z390 TUF Gaming Pro
Storage Device (HDD/SSD): 500GB Crucial SSD

UPDATE:

full uninstall, including all doc and steamapp. fresh reinstall. crashed while starting new campaign. twice. didn't even make it past the load screen.

Well, mods. Idk what to do at this point. I've tried everything I could by groping across these forums, but to no luck. That last update was the nail in the coffin. I'm going to set it aside and hopefully further updates fix these issues. See ya around

The post from 2/21 was directly AFTER a fresh wipe and reinstall. I verified files before I even did that and still had issues.

It crashes after completing a battle, and that’s if I can even get past the character creation screens. At this point, it won’t even load to that screen. It started doing it after the last update/hot fix. I had about 5 hours into it and didn’t have issues until that update.
