EDIT: new patch seems to have fixed!
I'm not sure if this is related to something I'm doing in game, but it seems like every new save file, inevitably, becomes corrupt at some point and causes the game to crash. At first I tried loading earlier saves, which worked for a time until they too started crashing upon loading.
The only possible connection I can think of is the main questline -- in all cases, the saves start failing to load *after* I finish talking to all 10 nobles.
It's tragic because at this point, the game is unplayable -- fingers crossed for a fix so I can start playing again!
