Summary:As of today, 2024-09-2024 I'm unable to play Bannelord. I get to the launcher on Steam, then hit either Play or Continue. When loading the game into the main menu, a pop up shows up saying the application crashed due to a fatal error that occured while checking sound bank files. I've done my research on this for troubleshooting as well (See below). I don't have any mods installed either as it is a fresh install of windows due to a new motherboard.
Troubleshooting: re-validating the files, done that a couple of times and no dice. Deleted the PC folder inside the Sound(s) folder. Deleted the entire Sound(s) folder and also reinstalled the game. Checked GPU drivers if any update was required, which it was not. Restarted my PC and updated Windows incase that had something to do with it.
How to Reproduce: No idea, as it started happening today. Played yesterday for hours with no issues.
