Resolved Crashing: Army of Poachers

Exactly the same but not sure about the town name, I saved the game right before that and it crash every time, so unable to continue campaign
here is the error when submitting crash report :

Same. For me it is at Ocs Hall.
In case it helps: I have a poacher that quest has NEGATIVE 8 days to complete it (it has this immediately upon taking the quest).
I've been trying to research ways to abandon the quest (or hack the save file to remove/fail the quest) without any luck.
I need to learn better save discipline for early access I guess, or to find a way to keep the 5 latest autosaves, b/c my prior save file is from 5 hours earlier...which would be extremely painful to revert to.
 
Same here, its a bug on a quest. Nothing we can do. You have to find a save before the quest.

I've got a fix! But it only applies for a few of you, not all. I got this same bug too, I took the quest near midnight for a town a little far, with the quest being due that same midnight- I couldn't make it to the town in time before the day ended, game crashed before getting there. Village wasn't raided - I was just outside of riding distance.

Fix? Turn on Cheat Mode on Documents/Bannerlord/engine_config to 1 instead of 0. Save it. Reload the game.

Then, control click right next to the village targetted - you should be able to interact with it before the day's end and fulfill the quest.

I think this is the key part of this crash. For me, the crash always happens when the day ends. Did I really burn a 5 hour campaign because I saved after I got a quest?

Unfortunately, I had to roll back, including a win on two tournaments.. I was crying a little.
 
Found workaround from this guy's guide. https://steamcommunity.com/app/261550/discussions/0/2149847049321586893/

Basically this:

Enable cheats.
Teleport with Ctrl+mouse click (dont click on village, or you cant teleport).
Then save, load game.
Pass time with normal speed for 2 seconds, save game, load game.
Then pass time with normal speed for 2 seconds, save game, load game.
Rinse and repeat until midnight in-game and then do the quest(Or if the village is pillaged, wait for it to repair with same method).
 
I tried the workaround with the control+click but at the time it didn't work for me, probably because I had the control key bound to something, but didn't think about that before going way back in the campaign.

Now I follow religiously the advises listed here :

But I have to say the poacher quest is the only one I found with a crash to desktop
