In Progress Crash on startup

Summary: Ever since patch 1.8.0 ive been having on and off issues with the game crashing on launch. I have done all the troubleshooting suggested in your crash issues posts. for a long time i could keep it working by downgrading the patch version. I did a clean re-install last night. Got a character created. Skipped the tutorial but when i tried to move from the main map It blue screened my computer. Now I;m back to crashing at the initial load screen after the launcher.

How to Reproduce:Launcher loads gets the mount and blade 2 screen with the horse in the lower left loads for a couple seconds then crashes.

Yes, I get this any consistently where the game will simply not boot. A clean install will occasionally let it boot once or twice then it goes to crashing at this same spot every single time. It has been happening ever since the 1.8.x patch.

Try running Steam first then try running BL. In the past I've had games not start because they were trying to load Steam, but steam timed out.

Steam is always running before I launch any of the my steam games. And the Bannerlord launcher loads just fine as well. Its once the actual game tries to load itself that it hangs. Before it ever reaches the main menu.

Sadly we can't share any ETA's. The team is working on it still.

Actually got this running by doing another bios update. I have a 13th gen Intel so it had the bugs and issues with instability. My mother board manufacturer had released a final bios update in December to help resolve. This got the game booting for me at least. It still crashes every couple hours but it does run.
