Need More Info Crash on loading save (NullReferenceException) 1.3 Beta

My game crash on loading my main save or its autosave. Works fine for saves on other campaigns. There hasn't been any change (update nor mod) between the saving and loading moment. The crash report says the NullRefecrenceException is at TaleWorlds.CampaignSystem.VillageType.GetProductionPerDay(ItemCategory itemCategory).

(of course the report is bigger with the full stack trace but I can't copy-paste it).

I hope I'll be able to save my save or at least understand how I got this issue.
 
I am having the exact same problem which just happened for the first time a couple of minutes ago. I hadn't changed any mods or anything. My current campaign's savegame (1.3 Beta) and its autosave won't load. I can start a new game or load another campaign's savegame without problems.

I hope I didn't lose my game.
 
Having this same issue as well. My game with about 10+ mods crashed many times, and I managed to start up bannerlord back and load my save properly every time. It was a slight nuisance, but I could still play my save. Now after about 10 hours of playing into my save (oddly enough no more crashes, since I guess I didn't load into villages much), I can't load it anymore since I get this same bug :/

This is on 1.3 beta
 
There's something going on in the game I believe that's causing these errors. I also got a similar null reference exception, several hundred days into the game.

You can actually copy paste it from "\Users\Documents\Mount and Blade II Bannerlord\diagnostic-report"

I had the same issue. Guys it seems like there's undercover patches going on on the beta branch, i can remember steam updating a small file. Also another user confirmed this as well. Seems like it occurred twice this last week. So after small undocumented beta branch updates the saves no longer work. I had a play though with no mods before when it occurred the first time.
 
My game is also crashing while loading saves. I have had it three times over the past days, i role back to earlier save but it has happened again. This was anew save in 1.3 and had the villager/companion issues, i wonder if it is connected. Mt crash report is 2020-04-28_06.04.48_5bc635066f27ec8bb68aeeb3d8200b94

Guess its time to start over, fine by me
 
Same here, both games after 1.3 now ended with all my save files crashing to desktop when I load them. :/
 
Have any of you guys had Settlement Icons mod installed at any moment in the corrupted saves?

Nope, I only use the one to remove party limit in Hideouts(got it for a long time now, seems stable). I recently added the one for attribute points every level, but I doubt that this is the issue here, as I could save and load my games without any problems with both of them enabled.

No settlements Icons mod for me and I'm in the crash club.

That's right. I'm confident TaleWorlds is to blame for this one. I bet it was caused by one of the stealth patches since nobody saw it coming.
 
Same issue .. I have over 30 hours in this save, cannot load any of the previous saves either ... game crashed on this when I was moving around Senopea or Myzea, but game loaded fine afterwards.Now its not working at all
 
There was a mini patch just recently, and I was able to load my save that had this error.
By recently you mean earlier today? How can I tell there was a patch? Did they signal it in any way?

EDIT: It loaded! My save was saved!!! Thank you!
 
Yeah I'm glad the devs were able to pinpoint the problem, if anyone else still has their save file it should be loadable if they had a similar stack trace report.
