I was just going to come in and post on the second bug, but the first one has taken prominence as it's made the game unplayable.
After a battle, which I just won by the way
, my game crashed to desktop. This actually happened with ordinary mount and blade, and I wasn't THAT phased as I had my victory autosaved. Problem is, now I can't go back into it, I get this message.
And YES steam is running, how else could I run the game.
And for some reason, I can't restart Steam. I get this message even though there are no steam programs running.
I am a little hesistant to do a reboot, as my wireless connection is intermitent and sometimes turned off, so chances are tthat I might not even be able to start steam as it doesn't always work offline. I have had problems with it, but the problem with Mount and Blade started with the CTD.
FTR, I run xp and am willing to answer any questions, provide stats etc.
The second bug is beyond me and more mildly amusing. My male charactere was taking his shirt off when entering castles last night for some reason, including when courting his lady-love. It just happened laste night, and not again before the crash today.
