Resolved Crash after selecting New Campaign option

Summary: Crash after selecting New Campaign option
How to Reproduce: Launched game, went to the settings to turn the audio down. Returned to the main menu and selected New Campaign. The loading screen appears, freezes and then proceeds to show the crash report message. Crashing the game back to the desktop.

Motherboard: ASUSTeK ROG MAXIMUS XI Hero
Storage Device (HDD/SSD): 2TB HDD

These are also dump files from the previous patch from my attempts to start a new campaign over the last few days.

As an update. If I recieve a save file from someone else then it works fine. Purely on the inital campaign setup is the crash area.
