In Bannerlord and back in Warband too, morale loss of the troops during battle causes them to flee , or rather run like joggers until they disappear from the battlefield.

I sense that Bannerlord can do greater deeds.

A random behavior like :
- Falling to the ground in fear, dropping weapons and covering their head with their hands (with maybe the fact that killing them would make you mercyless)
- Dropping weapons and kneeling, hands up or behind head in surrender.
- Dropping weapons and run cowering like madmen
- Simply turn back like now, but able to retaliate if attacked (or change to one of the other attitude).

For those who yield they'll count like wounded enemies and capturable, for the others, just like now where they regroup afterwards.

And in a similar way, on player side, the ability to order a fallback and disband, so that your men can be somewhat retrieved in nearby villages after you escape from captivity. Maybe a local notable might have a clue to where some of your troops might have regrouped.
