Courage test and how it works.

I would work like so. At the start of battle the courage of your men would be determined by your carisma and leadership. If you have 16 points on carisma it would be doubled and would be 16+16=32. The 32 is % so it is 32% of 100%. One leadership point is 5%. If you have 4 leadership points it will be doubled and again doubled so it would be 5+5+5+5=20 the 20 is also % so it is 20% of 100%. Now the carisma and the leadership points will be together 20+32=52 so the 52 is also % so it is 52% of 100%. Now the % is 52 so there is a 52% chance that your troops are fighting with you. This test will be made for every troop individually. The courage test will be made if the enemy has double the number of your army or more. Like if the enemy has 50 men and you have 25 men the test must be made.

Yeah, interesting idea...I think this game's steering away from Dungeons & Dragons style play though.

That idea is so retro AD&D... I love it. Hahaha.

Having factors like morale would make leadership and charisma much more critical on the battlefield. But then again, having your footsoldiers scatter as soon as they find themselves overwhelmed and flanked by black knights would be incredibly frustrating, so this is definitely a gameplay vs. reality judgement for the developers to make.
