Hello, I'm writing a childern's story for English class, and I've chosen to entitle mine "Monsieur Cuddles of Little Huntlington Has an Adventure".
I've made my adorable Mr. Cuddles a rabbit that has a top hat and a nice leather coat. Here's the first paragraph.
"In the far away shire of Little Huntlington, there lived a nice gentleman rabbit that went by the name of Monsieur Cuddles, a prominent and respectable citizen. He was a very keep-to-himself rabbit with only a few close friends. He never travelled much outside Little Huntlington much. “Adventures,” he often said “Are only worth it if you can make it back home just in time for tea.” He disliked any place where he might get his top hat dirty or his nice coat fluffy. However, one day he was taking a nice walk around the Town Hall, where often the furry creatures of Little Huntlington all the way to Tuddle Town often met, he was very much displeased."
I could use some help with, ugh, "cute and adorable" names that would make a young girl bust into fits of gurgling pleasure. I've come up with Billy Badger, but my limited understanding of idiocy restrains me from creating more retarded names.
I have to have a few generic buddies of his, and a big mean bully who wants to tuffle up Mounsieur Tuddles's fur up.
EDIT: I've been working on a bit more, here it is...
Monsieur Cuddles of Little Huntlington Has an Adventure
In the far away shire of Little Huntlington, there lived a nice gentleman rabbit that went by the name of Monsieur Cuddles, a prominent and respectable citizen. He was a very keep-to-himself rabbit with only a few close friends. He never travelled much outside Little Huntlington much. “Adventures,” he often said, “Are only worth it if you can make it back home just in time for tea.” He disliked any place where he might get his top hat dirty or his nice coat all scratched up. However, one day he was taking a nice walk around the Town Hall, where often the furry creatures of Little Huntlington all the way to Toodle Town often met, when he was very much displeased.
Billy Badger had approached him rather rudely as Monsieur Cuddles had been sniffing the roses and given him an invitation. However, everyone in Little Huntlington how much Monsieur Cuddles loved tea. As Billy Badger walked away, Monsieur opened up the letter. “Oh look, an invitation for tea with Milison Mouse!” As Monsieur Cuddles went back to his rabbit hole, he but on his best tie and for the special occasion, he brought his own fancy monocle. After combing his tail and making his hair spiffy, he set out.
He set out towards the quaint road leading towards Toodle Town, the capital of Lorwhile. Stopping only to buy a few carrots as a roadside snack (Mr. Cuddles was a light eater- he couldn’t come to tea being full!), Monsieur Cuddles headed off to the Hills of Hug, where the Owlgreen trees grew a plenty, and where are the birds and small rodents resided.
Unfortunately for Monsieur Cuddles, he was rather deeply immersed in his carrot, which was one of the select carrots from the Farms of Fordry, he never noticed that a Suspicious Pilgrim was lurking, switching around the signs of “Hills of Hug” and “The Dark Forest”…
