could not destroy your old session

So I just downloaded my Bannerlord and matchmaking took about 15 minutes so I canceled it. The problem is that it won't log me anymore after this saying: "could not destroy your old session".
Any suggestions?

Same for a friend and I, tried to queue for siege waited for 10-15 minutes, closed the game, reset steam same message every time 'Could not destroy your old session'.

Given how many players are experiencing this, I wouldn't be surprised if they servers just stopped updating in preparation for the beta launch or something.

I've been having this issue for about 30-40 mins. now when I try to play multi player

I did not cancle my session staight off though played a few awsome rounds with friends , then, our group froze up trying to load... got that could not destroy old session note ever since.

Yeah, early access. I know people were having this problem with the beta before the EA launch, so I'm just wondering if maybe they closed down the beta servers and the EA servers are using different data.

I got the game post launch,,, but they are admitedly still in "beta" for multi player,,, while the single player is considered EA whatever the hell the difference is supposed to be,,, prolly this kinda stuff, it kinda seems Steam related, I'd guess...
