Couching is bugged?

It seems that couching on the whole is bugged, as shields prevent you from being couched by a lance. Shields still take damage, though. Unless this is intended, as Kradus does say that a couched lance is unblockable by anything.

I believe that the shield preventing you from receiving damage is intended.

In real life a shield might or might not prevent you from being hurt ... but for the sake of fun and balanced gameplay, it stops all the damage and keeps you safe.

It has always been like that. I believe what kradus said was that weapons cannot block it, and it shatters shields.

it would all depend on how the shield had been hit, what it was made out of etc...
