Couched Lance Damage

How does one get couched lance damage? When every I use a jousting lance on an enemy while on horseback, I always get warrider damage, not couched lance.

Check the combat part of the "quick and dirty manual" above. It took me a while to realise how to couch the lance to be honest

I figured that you couldn't get 'couched damage' perse, but rather 'warrider damage' witha lance.. just a lot more than usual...

yeah, it took me along time to figure that couched thing out, mainly because you need a nice and fast horse to really use it properly, but damn does it rock.

Yeah, it's not exactly intuitive. That's why I included it in the manual, but didn't mention warrider damage.
