Need More Info Corrupted Save Files

We are sorry to see that you are having this problem. While we are investigating the potential reasons for this issue, we can't retrieve corrupted save files. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Because of the fact that we will update all the platforms the testing phase is much longer than before. It is hard for us to give any estimates but please do know that we are working very hard to publish the patch as soon as possible.

This is only the 2nd time in the past few years I've paid $40+ for a game. I can't sit and wait weeks post launch for a patch when the game will reduce in price in a few months.
Really dissapointing, I even convinced my friend to buy it before I had issues.
Refund time I think.

Temp work around for myself that works has been to make 2 manual "save as" files every once in awhile. 1 wont get overwritten the next time you quicksave so it dont get corrupted. Over time just delete old ones to not clutter everything. Or when you log out. Make a new manual save or 2. Then delete the current autosaves. The next time the game autosaves they will be new fresh saves. So should be safe. Least till they fix things.

Thanks for the tip! I was manual saving a few times after the first crashes and then corrupted Save, but for some reason it only showed one corrupted Save and only showed me an old save game to reload from, missing the manual ones I had done.
Which is weird, because I was hoping it would go like you have described. Again thanks for the help, I'm gutted. I'm a huge M&B fan and I'm desperate to get back to battanian army.

I love the game so much it's my first time playing on console, i paid full price for it on my ps4 put in almost 100 hours and slowly one by one all of my saves got corrupted i would delete a corrupted save and it added my last save to the list all of my saves are now corrupted I am infuriated how much time I just lost I want it fixed or my money back

Hope they fix it ASAP, because it's a game breaking bug. Meanwhile it's probably better to disable autosaving ( you can do it in the option menu ).

Can confirm my method has been working well. No problems for the last 12 more hours of game time since I've been doubling up and doing more manual saves and once just deleted old autosaves. So imo its definitely something that happens during many saves overwriting.

I'm here to second this. So far so good. EVERY autosave automatically corrupts at this point, but I haven't seen any of my manual saves corrupt after adopting the practice of occasionally making a new "Save as" and deleting some of the older ones.

So I have tested this all day yesterday and I am happy to report some success!
The steps I took incase anyone is interested;
Went to ps4 storage and removed the corrupted save files, leaving ikly my most recent save file (not needed if starting a new game)
Switched off auto save in options, and as you advised have only been using save as, and deleting any old saves I create.
Have been able to play pretty normally, I've had a couple of crashes which helped me learn to save as all the time - which still isn't great.

The glory goes to @DrakenSilverwing as this was his suggestion, and I am certainly glad that he made it. The occasional crashes are definitely still there, BUT... this "fix" allows for progress to be made in spite of them.
