Resolved Corrupt Save?

正在查看此主题的用户

I have the same issue. I have experienced it several times, but I managed to return to my backup saves and continue, but then it happened again.
The problem: After some playtime the game starts crashing when I try to load a save file, that had worked perfectly well. I can't specify what triggers it, because it just happens. Sometimes it happens after a crash, sometimes when you try to load a save. I have to mention that I did not have this problem before the hotfix, but it might be a coincidence. I didn't use Save and exit and I did not update my GPU drivers. I thought it had something to do with quicksaving, but I still got this when I stopped quicksaving. Also, sometimes more than one save gets corrupted, not only the autosave and the last manual save. Crash reporter does not work as well. I tried win7 compatiblility + run as administrator and deleting the CN folder, did not work.
My specs: I7 6700k
Gigabyte Gtx 1060 6gb
16gb RAM
Win10

Pls solve this ASAP, the game is unplayable.

UPD so, this is what I found out: the game makes corrupted not one save, but two or three latest saves. I have one working save, I can load it, sometimes I can make other saves and load them, but if I play for little time, and then try to saveload it crashes the game. I thought the problem was in taking certain quests or visiting towns, but, evidently, it's just passing of time, or some events in the world that I'm not aware of. Patch 1.0.1 did not solve this

I've had this happening since the patch, and I've tried to narrow down the actual source of the crashes. I've copied some loadable saves where any new save made will be broken, without any change to the game state unless something is changed when loading. Loading them and saving twice breaks them (loading, saving, loading, saving and then loading the resulting save). An old save from just after the tutorial seems to survive this treatment. New saves started in the current version (but without much progress) also seem fine.

No idea what's actually causing the problem, but my guess would be that some value not necessarily present in the save at the start is saved and loaded differently, and once that's happened twice the save is broken. I've tried tossing all my stuff and firing all my people to no effect, so it's probably something in the world state that breaks.

I tried it and the game crashed on first loading, although earlier it allowed me to do a couple before ctd

It happens to my old saves once I've loaded and saved them twice after the patch. When you say you tried this, do you mean that you loaded an old save that's been loadable before (and that hasn't been saved over since)? If so then I guess I'm seeing false patterns here.

Remember it is early access people no need to get aggravated too much peoples. I've had three crashes in a row and still all good on my end because I know eventually whether it be a day or a week it will eventually be solved through our reports and testing of Early Access. Of course we don't want any of these issues but that is just how early access is you can even read the policies on early access on steam and look at the Q&A on the store page before buying. How they fix it and in what order is up to them and I won't judge that by a review or anything. But either way this is the best place to be complaining and not on reviews like some people.

I'm 21 hours into the game and the majority of the important save games are now corrupted. Tried going back to 1.0.0 but still facing corruption issues.

Save game corruption is a lot worse than crashes unfortunately. So far the game has crashed around 4 times (not including the corrupt saves where it crashes everytime I try to load it). This is on an i9-9900k, GTX 1080TI and 32GB of RAM.

The random crashes aren't as frustrating since I try and make a new save every 20 minutes. The biggest issue is when 5+ of your saves just don't work, and you lose hours and can't find a working save.

No one is complaining here, we're trying to find the problem
Your comment was totally uncalled for

My crash is off of a save game and it isn't any worse or any better than any other issue right now here in Early Access. I have a 1080ti and a 5930k and 32GB of ram as well. This is early access and I expect the unexpected and for crappy things to happen because that is how early access is buddy. Let's just report and help them get to the bottom of this as best we can just saying all we can do is relax because after all we bought this in Early Access. Still such a sweet game so far and still feels like Mount and Blade.

I think your crash is different than mine. Because I have to reload 1 hour prior, and everytime I capture a castle and save, that data then becomes corrupted. Essentially preventing me from progressing at all, it's a very odd bug.

Edit: Seems like even the saved game prior to capturing the castle is corrupted as well. I think the only fix would be to start a new game on a 22 hour campaign.

Just adding to the story, this happend to my after 2 days of playing and 30hours in. Really weird. None of my saves work. Neither hard-save or autosave which are 1 minute away from eachother. Currently on patch e1.0.1

Rolling back to before the patch doesn't seem to fix the issue for me either. Essentially I find a save game that works which is hours old, then when I play for a bit and save over that file the game just automatically corrupts again. So I'm stuck in a scenario where no matter what I do I can't save the game.

I'm still unsure whether it has to do with capturing the castle.

I just hope to god the devs can fix this, since it's quite literally a gamebreaking bug, for alot of us.

I'm sure they will, if you look at their updates the majority have been bug patches. I think the best course for me personally is to wait a few weeks before picking up the game again as I've run into a lot of complications so far.

It seems like we are having different problems here. I was just fine with resuming my save until tomorrow morning when i updated my drivers, i am playing a new save at the moment and it seems fine. I believe it has something to do with GPU's we are using. I'm using R93804GB can you guys share what GPU you are using?
I'm using a Geforce 1080

If you are concerned about losing progress from complications I think you should probably wait till it is out of early access sounds to me like you want a polished game that you can complete from start to finish without any issues if not and I'm wrong sorry. They said in their Q&A "Savegames: We will strive to keep savegame compatibility during EA, however it may be technically infeasible to provide 100% backward compatibility in savegames and you may occasionally have to start a new game after updating to a new version." but hopefully they get this fixed soon and our save games work but if not oh well I read the Early Access Q&A and I am completely happy playing a bugged out glitchy game that sometimes might not work unless I start up a new game or a fix comes out. Either way I bought the game to help iron out issues so that it is a beautiful game when it comes out of early access. Also if I'm wrong about anything else I'm sorry now off to try and start up a new game.

If you are concerned about losing progress...
Dude, nobody is angry here. I can understand where your sentiment is coming from, since there are many people who keep writing insensate things about the game "being ****" when, indeed, it is Early Access... But in this thread we're literally just trying to understand what causes this bug and how to avoid it, which might also help the developers a bit more (and yes, I assure you we also report crashes - or at least we started to when the reporter started working, which wasn't the case when this thread was started). We're just trying to get to the bottom of this, not attacking the developers.
