Yes, it would be nice, easier, and we would report more bugs.
Has a new patch been released and does this solve our issues if we start a new game?

Yeah apologies for my confusion people on steam discussions are discussing a patch called 1.03 I thought we last tested on 1.03e, I've read at least 2 people on steam thread talking about the . 3 patch and 3e patch as if they are separate patches. I'm not by my computer right now hence the question have we had a minor patch in the last hour......
Edit just checked all over steam and can't find reference to a new patch so the steam guys must be getting there wires crossed.

So I don't know if this is directly connected to my newest bug or not, but I too cannot load save game files all of a sudden—except mine may have a clearer reason why:
The moment when I got too curious last night (around 9 PM EST) and exited the game to enable Cheat Mode (to get through that "Start a Kingdom" grind!) my game has refused to load any saves and crashed to desktop after selecting a save from the Load Game screen.
I've made a separate post because it seems like the only thing that changed for me was:
-played 40+ hours
-enabled cheat mode
-consistently CTD at Load Game
-reverted config files back via backup copy
-crashes continue regardless of original backup files
I did just manage to force my way through the crash (since originally posting about it) by just restarting the game multiple times, loading random files over and over, crashing multiple times, and eventually one of them worked! But it failed the very next time. So other than that blip I'm in the same boat, despite the e1.0.3 patch.

I've the same problem as well. I had same problem yesterday too. Yesterday, after hours of play, I got crash while loading my save file couple of times. And today, I load my save file and it worked. But a hour later I got the same problem again :/ Should I not load my game very often or the problem is different than that?

I sure hope they dont wait till 9pm uk time yet again for the patch, it should be released actually ASAP not the same time as the others...
