Copying and transferring saved games

Hi there, new M&B fanatic here.

Just one thing, I started playing the game as a roaming person on my laptop and have now proceeded to install the game on my desktop pc. Is there any way for me to transfer my saved game from my laptop onto my desktop? I've fiddled with the Export character stuff, but it doesn't seem to transfer my current troops and factions.

go to my documents\mount & blade saves\native and copy the files there onto a usb drive or similar. then paste those in the same place on the desktop pc.

Thanks alot mate, managed to transfer the game.

Also, it seems to take a LOT longer to load my saved game / a new game on my desktop PC for some reason, even though it has much better specs. Baffled.

Well I've had that issue before and the reason the game didn't load was that the 'source' installation had been tweaked a little, and the new one was still a fresh install. Once I copied all the modified txt files from Modules/Native to the target pc my old savegames loaded just fine.
