i have been searching around the forum randomly and it seems that every topic seems to have one person that tells a great story about their game.
you know what I'm talking about. post your cool stories here. I'll even start us off.
It was when i was defending yruma castle from repeated khergit attacks when king graveth offered me marshallship. It was the first time i had ever been asked to be marshal, and i accepted. I quickly summoned the army of the rhodoks around reyvadin, and began my campaign against the nords. first i took tilbaut castle away from them and freed 2 prisoners from a sarranid owned castle nearby. Then the pesky sarranids decided to lead a crusade against Dhirim, i marched the army there, defeated the nords travelling around the plateau and valiantly defended Dhirim, i sent two of the lords in my campaign to raid the villages surrounding Dhirim (nord villages) and then it was just me and count talbar, riding to besiege Senuzguda castle, in order to free Dhirim from one of the nord castles encircling it. We failed. Before our armies were irreparably damaged, i ran back to Dhirim, by which time the 2 other lords had returned to the army. Then suddenly the Nords finally retaliated by besieging tilbaut castle with their own army. i rallied my forces and marched to Tilbaut castle, but upon seeing the Nord forces amassed around the castle, all the lords in my campaign ran screaming to dramug castle, the cowards. I followed them there, and convinced them to come back with me, as well as recruting count Trimbau as well. With Count Trimbau bulstering our forces the fearful lords managed to not soil their pants and we all marched into Tilbaut castle. We managed to defend the castle, but we had heavy losses. i decided to end the campaign and resign marshallship. We managed to get a peace treaty with the nords soon after. Count Talbar was made marshal, and I knew him to be a worthy choice, however i did not join his campaign, I now go to fight the sarranids, who while i fought the nords took shariz from us.
