It's pretty rare (in my experience with the game) and without mods that you encounter 2 factions vs 1 in a big battle (although this would be awesome if we could have more of them and actually unlimited units on the battlefield and let the actual player choose it's limit).
I recorded this battle and took some time to explain what i did and what works best at least with me, so for new players might get some insight in what to do

Make your predictions first and say in the comments what was your choice, and then compare with the end results, and if you were in the same position what would you do differently.
I always play with the Bannerlord preset (so max difficulty and damage).
