Need More Info Convincing enemy lord

After convincing an enemy lord to convert they will make me be in a loop. I cannot run away, i cannot fight them to make them go away. I am just stuck in a constant loop. I tried to reload a save and the last auto save was right after i convinced him to convert. I now have to reload and redo at least 6 hours of gameplay.
